We are seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the **** school year.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers.
A mandatory CV template is provided for use.
Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage.
The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The School
Since ****, Butler College Senior Secondary students have performed exceptionally well in ATAR courses, with our average median ATAR just below 80 and above comparable schools.
In recent years, numerous students have won awards from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), including Subject Certificates of Excellence, Subject Exhibition, Certificates of Distinction and Certificates of Merit.
Our ATAR pathway is complemented by our General and Vocational Education Training (VET) pathways.
We deliver Hospitality, Engineering and Sports Coaching certificate qualifications onsite and work closely with other providers to ensure our students have access to the full suite of VET Delivered to Secondary Students (VETDSS) opportunities.
The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally contribute to the English Learning Area and display a reflective approach to their teaching practice, fostering professional growth and enhancing student outcomes.
Knowledge and application of high impact learning strategies to effectively engage students in English would be highly valued.
In addition, the ability to deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential is highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will ideally build positive relationships with their students and be passionate about creating positive futures for all students.
The desired applicants should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, which they would use to uphold and promote the school's values, culture, and strategic priorities throughout the school community.
