NEP Australia | Systems Support Specialist
NEP Australia, a leading provider of studio and outside broadcast production services, is expanding its Technology team. We are recruiting a Sydney-based Systems Support Specialist to support our Andrews Hub facility in Eveleigh, NSW.
Responsibilities
Maintain the network to ensure 100% uptime for all events and support broadcast network systems across the mobile fleet and within the Hub.
* Ensure network ecosystem stability and responsiveness to hub and field engineering staff.
* Maintain network security protocols and SOP.
* Maintain proper documentation of all network systems.
* Provide technical support for NEP broadcast network systems throughout the mobile fleet.
Skills Required
* Technical or Associate's degree in information technology, or equivalent education and experience.
* Prior experience in the broadcast television industry is a plus.
* Excellent communication, problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* Collaboration with managers, engineers, and clients on projects.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Technical support background.
* Experience with Cisco CCNP or equivalent.
* Knowledge of BGP, EVPN‐VXLAN, IPSec VPN, multicast, and cloud technologies.
* Experience with Python and Ansible.
* Basic Linux distribution experience.
* Interest in network automation.
