**Your New Role**
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and the Board, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely legal advice for a wide range of corporate, commercial, financial, and legislative requirements, preparing minutes for all Board and Committee meetings and managing Board and Committee governance matters.
You will be the trusted legal advisor across all areas of all legal, risk and corporate governance matters that arise within the business. Working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership team, you will gain exposure to business operations, strategy growth directions and corporate governance issues.
**About You**
- A commercial astute senior lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' post admission experience in a commercial/corporate environment.
- Tertiary qualification in law and holder of current practicing certificate (or ability to readily regain practicing certificate).
- Demonstrated experience as a Company Secretary.
- Demonstrated ability to balance commercial and legal considerations to deliver practical solutions.
- Membership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (Desirable)
