Opportunity exists for a highly organized Trades & Fleet Services Administrator to provide critical support to council operations across trade services, public domain lighting, contracts administration and fleet management.
The successful candidate will have excellent record-keeping skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of equipment, services and contractor performance, while ensuring compliance with Council frameworks.
A key aspect of this role is providing administrative and technical support for Trades Services, including scheduling, contractor coordination and job tracking. In Contracts Administration, they will manage contract documentation, assist with procurements and renewals, and ensure compliance within Council guidelines.
In Public Domain Lighting maintenance, they will maintain asset data and schedule upkeep in line with safety standards, liaising with lighting contractors and internal teams. For Fleet Management, they will support maintenance scheduling, insurance and registration tracking, driver and asset documentation, and reporting on utilisation, costs and compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have experience in logistics or contract administration, with a strong eye for detail.
