EOI - Principal Human Resources Consultant - North Coast Region
An exciting opportunity has become available with the North Coast Region, HR School Operations - Business Partnering team. Join us as a Principal HR Business Partner and play a pivotal team leader role in driving strategic and operational HR Services across our region. This is a temporary full-time role available from as soon as possible until 30 June 2026, unless otherwise determined. This is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Your Responsibilities
* Lead, plan and monitor the work of project and operational teams supporting schools to achieve organisational goals through effective workforce planning and resource management.
* Contribute strategically as a key member of the regional and HR senior leadership teams, influencing and managing change through strong relational and consultative leadership.
* Establish and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services and a strong customer‑centric culture.
* Review and enhance HR processes, programs and service delivery models, driving continuous improvement and alignment with best‑practice human resource management.
* Develop and implement innovative workforce planning solutions that enable schools to respond to evolving, staff and community needs.
* Identify and address emerging HR policy and workforce issues, ensuring advice and strategies are evidence‑based and aligned with departmental objectives.
* Provide expert mentoring and guidance to HR Business Partners, supporting schools in managing performance, complaints, grievances and alternative conflict resolution processes.
