Job Description
The role of a Quality Manager is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and service excellence to residents across our aged care residences.
This position plays a crucial role in the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management reviews, and facilitates the process of continuous improvement in line with the Aged Care Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, review, and evaluate quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement that meet all regulatory requirements.
* Lead team meetings on quality and compliance matters across multidisciplinary teams relating to audit and reviews each month.
* Collaborate with site management and the extended quality team to create innovative solutions to mitigate identified gaps.
* Provide advice and support to staff around Aged Care Quality Standards requirements, and assist in the resident assessment process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, including current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Aged Care Act and Governing for Reform in Aged Care.
* Registered Quality Assessor or successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor's Course are highly regarded.
