Electrical Engineering Manager
About the Role:
* The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing all onsite Electrical Engineering activities.
* Provide specialist technical expertise to Peak Downs Mine, ensuring a robust change control and document management process exists and is followed.
You will accurately manage the operation's blueprint; change management process and Asset integrity. As well as ensuring Electrical compliance to Australian Standards and any other legislative requirements.
In this role you will:
1. Be first and foremost focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader
2. Build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams, seeking to understand customer needs and managing expectations
3. Provide Electrical guidance and technical support to Engineering, Project Managers and Maintenance
The successful candidate will have:
* A tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering and/or able to receive a practicing certificate within the current grace period (June 2026) to suit the EEM position requirements
* Applicable industry experience as an EEM or coal mine Electrician
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with ability to influence stakeholders, providing sufficient communications to gain agreement and commitment
