Maritime Logistics Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Maritime Logistics Specialist to join our team in supporting the domestic commercial vessel fleet operations in Australia and Antarctica. The successful applicant will work with, and onboard, a broad range of commercial vessels, providing logistical support, fleet coordination, maintenance and operator training programs.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the implementation of watercraft support programs;
* Coordinating key tasks in support of shipping programs;
* Reviewing watercraft operational instructions and safety management systems;
* Implementing small vessel operations, including liaison with internal stakeholders, external agencies and contractors;
* Safely operating a range of watercraft and providing administrative support;
* Completing maintenance records for vessels;
* Assisting with procurement of inventory and spare parts required to maintain watercraft and voyage support operations;
* Arranging logistical support for vessels, including transport and slipping services;
* Preparing watercraft for operation, regulatory inspections and deployment;
* Conducting vessel sea trials;
* Gathering and analysing information to develop operational documentation;
* Undertaking records management, procurement and finance activities;
* Supporting voyage management and watercraft operator briefing and training programs;
* Supporting planning for maritime operations.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience on a range of domestic commercial vessels and maintenance of fleet vessels. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in procurement, financial and records management, development and delivery of briefing and training programs, stakeholder liaison, and production of procedures and operating instructions.
The selected candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will have demonstrated ability to support planning and development of practical and innovative maritime logistics capabilities and solutions.
