About The Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our maintenance team. This is a permanent full-time position that offers extensive employee benefits and opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a small team of maintainers and apprentices in effectively maintaining the site's mechanical infrastructure.
* Ensure the successful execution of the maintenance plan for a production department.
* Monitor that all compliance inspections and testing are conducted and documented.
* Contribute to weekly planning and shutdown plans.
* Provide support to your team when necessary.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a heavy industrial environment.
* Demonstrated high level of safety behaviour.
* Trade Qualification (Mechanical Maintenance).
* High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in SAP (desirable).
* Ability to build strong customer focus between maintenance and operating departments.
