About the role
RDO Equipment is seeking an experienced Service Technician (Field) to join our team in Goondiwindi, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our valued customers on-site.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy equipment and machinery
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment to identify the root cause
* Repair and service equipment in the field, ensuring minimal downtime for our customers
* Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
* Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with customers to understand their needs
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in a related field
* Experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in the heavy equipment industry
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer sites as required
