Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team This role involves working closely with individuals to develop and implement therapy strategies that enhance daily living skills, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct client assessments to identify strengths and challenges.
Develop individualized therapy plans to promote functional independence.
Provide NDIS-related interventions and support services.
Collaborate with clients, families, and support coordinators for effective care.
Recommend assistive technology and environmental modifications.
Maintain detailed case notes, reports, and documentation.
Educate families and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Experience in NDIS, disability support, or clinical settings preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
