What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, multi-faceted projects across various business systems. This role requires a hands‐on leader who is not only capable of directing but also willing to roll up their sleeves and action tasks as needed. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
Projects will include Infrastructure and Application Projects.
Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all phases of IT projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
* Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Budget & Resource Management: Ensure optimal allocation of resources and budget control across multiple projects.
* Compliance & Governance: Adhere to IT governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
* Change Management: Drive business and technical change initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
Qualification and Experience:
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT Project Management with hands-on experience managing ERP, HRIS, or enterprise application projects.
* Project Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
* Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, SaaS applications, and integration technologies.
* Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex project issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
* Prior experience in large-scale IT transformation projects.
* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
