* Salary AHP-3 $108,347 - $116,216 p.a. (pro rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits
* Temporary up to 3/1/27 and part-time working 22.5 hours per week

About the role

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will lead the organisation, management and day-to-day operation of a designated pharmacy area, delivering a comprehensive, high-level range of operational pharmacy services. You'll exercise independent and autonomous judgement to provide expert medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, as well as to medical, nursing and allied health colleagues, in line with hospital and divisional policies, professional standards and best-practice guidelines. This is a pivotal role where your expertise and leadership will directly influence patient care across the service.

You will champion the optimisation of patient outcomes by implementing strategies that promote the quality use of medicines in a safe, effective and cost-conscious manner. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to continuous improvement, support safe medication practices and help shape pharmacy services that meet the evolving needs of the hospital and its patients. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing excellence in hospital pharmacy practice.

About you



You are an experienced and motivated Senior Pharmacist who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

* Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) with current or eligible registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

* Extensive hospital pharmacy experience with demonstrated leadership, supervisory or management capability

* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a complex environment

* Proven ability to lead service improvement, supervise and educate staff, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
