About the role:
As the Land Use Activity Agreement (LUAA) Officer, you play a critical role in supporting Parks Victoria's obligations under the LUAA that is part of the larger Recognition Settlement Agreement (RSA) with Traditional Owner groups. Your position provides leadership, specialist advice, and operational coordination to ensure that land use activities across jointly managed parks and reserves are consistent with LUAA requirements, legislative frameworks, and cultural heritage protection obligations.
We're looking for someone with:
* Tertiary qualifications in environmental management, law, cultural heritage, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Substantial experience in compliance management, governance, or cultural heritage protection within an environmental, land management, or joint management context.
* Demonstrated experience providing authoritative advice, developing compliance frameworks, and leading collaborative projects or partnerships.
* Proven capability in managing complex stakeholder relationships, particularly with Traditional Owner groups.
