Project Manager - Civil Engineering
A Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background is required to lead various infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning, design, and construction phases, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and government stakeholders to create lasting solutions that benefit the community. Strong technical knowledge of civil design, construction, and regulatory frameworks is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead civil engineering assignments from design through to completion, focusing on road infrastructure, stormwater systems, culverts, bridges, and water treatment.
* Produce and review technical drawings, specifications, and project reports for approval and delivery.
* Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
* Provide clear direction to contractors and support junior engineers through mentoring and guidance.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders through open communication and professional service.
* Drive quality outcomes by identifying improvements and applying best practice methodologies.
Requirements
* Civil Engineering degree is mandatory.
* RPEQ registration is advantageous but not required.
* Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects in consultancy, private organisations, or government environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of civil design, construction, and regulatory frameworks.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities while keeping projects on track.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to attend sites as required.
