Job Description:
As a Guest Services Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests. This involves managing overnight operations, ensuring smooth and efficient front office processes, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
You will work closely with our team to achieve our goals, handling arrival and departure records, performing cashiering duties, and showcasing hotel rooms and suites to prospective clients.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth and efficient front office operation
* Handle arrival and departure records
* Perform cashiering duties for foreign currency exchange, payments, and charges
* Showcase hotel rooms and suites to prospective clients and guests
* Respond to guest enquiries and requests
* Maintain security for guests, staff, and hotel property
* Ensure public and back-of-house areas meet cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards
Requirements:
* Previous work experience in fast-paced hotel operations or reservations environment
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
* Superior customer service and service resolution skills
* Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Able to create positive first impression with 5-star grooming standards
* Flexibility to work on rotating 24-hour roster, including public holidays
