The Role:
We are seeking a high-energy, sales-focused Course Advisor to join our Maroochydore team. This is a fast-paced role where your primary focus is connecting with prospective students (warm leads) to help them navigate through the initial stages of their educational journey.
You will be the face—and voice—of the RTO, responsible for managing the initial student experience from inquiry to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consultative Sales: Manage a high volume of inbound leads, converting interest into enrolments through confident, relationship-based selling.
* Eligibility Verification: Conduct thorough assessments of student eligibility, with a heavy focus on Queensland Government funding programs such as Career Start and Career Boost.
* Technical Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our extensive scope of qualifications, including delivery methods, training strategies, and specific learner cohorts.
* CRM Management: Accurately track leads and student journeys through our internal systems.
Selection Criteria:
Essential Criteria:
* RTO Experience: A solid understanding of the VET landscape is a must.
* Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in phone-based and digital lead-conversion environments. You are comfortable moving leads through a digital sales funnel.
* Expert Communication: The ability to explain complex training strategies and delivery modes with confidence and clarity.
* Sunshine Coast Based: Ability to work from our Maroochydore Head Office.
* Systems & Access: Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a myID account to access various Government Portals (essential for verifying funding eligibility).
Highly Desirable:
* Funding Expertise: Specific experience with Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) funding is highly desired.
* Software Proficiency: Previous experience using Student Convert CRM will give you a significant head start.
