The Role
As our Account Executive - Retail, you'll play a key role in managing relationships with national grocery accounts. Working closely with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams, you will ensure seamless execution of promotional programs, accurate sales forecasting, and proactive customer support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in FMCG sales and gain exposure to account management within the fast-paced fresh food sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day management of key supermarket accounts.
* Assist with sales forecasting and align plans with production and logistics.
* Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Coordinate promotional activities with marketing and customer teams.
* Conduct store visits to track brand presence, pricing, and competitor activity.
* Prepare presentations, pricing files, and reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain CRM records and support business reviews with commercial insights.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders from store managers to national buyers.
About You
* Experience in account management, sales support, or a commercial role within FMCG, retail, or fresh food.
* Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance and market trends.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
