The Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the following position:
PAYROLL MANAGER Position Type: Permanent
Responsible for developing and implementing payroll policies and processes, managing and delivering all payroll functions for Griffith City Council, ensuring compliance with laws and taxation obligations, and supervising the payroll team in accordance with Council policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a Diploma in Payroll Administration or Accounting, or demonstrated extensive relevant experience in a senior payroll position.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will need a comprehensive understanding of awards and legislation related to payroll, as well as extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, payroll taxes, and superannuation legislation.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and Conditions: The commencement annual salary range is from $108,102.72 to $118,908.24 (Grade 19), plus superannuation.
