Join WesTrac's Hydraulics team and take your skills to the next level As an HVOF Operator, you'll be hands-on with advanced chrome plating technology, working on Cat hydraulic components in a safety-first, high-performance workshop. This full-time role is based in South Guildford.
Roster: 8 On, 6 Off - days/nights - 12 hrs/day
What You'll Do:
* Operate the HVOF Machine to chrome plate hydraulic rods
* Operate Cylindrical Grinders to remove old chrome
* Operate Polishing lathes to ensure a precision finish
* Collaborate with Workshop Supervisors to meet quality standards
* Maintain strict safety and process compliance
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in HVOF operation, chrome plating, or cylindrical grinding
* Experience around lathes highly desirable
* Mechanical Trade Assistant background preferred
* Safety-first mindset and strong communication skills
* Familiarity with JSA and Take 5 risk tools
