**The Opportunity**
On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for a
**Project Administration Officer** to join their Workforce and Capability branch. Based in Robina, this is a 12 month contract with a possibility of extension.
**The Role**
Working within the Workforce and Delivery branch, the Performance and Talent Officer will be accountable for undertaking complex work, guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies. There will be a requirement to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to the Agency's objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertaking financial administrative tasks.
- Working in consultation with local leaders to build staff capability through coaching and training.
- Preparing correspondence, reports and briefing papers.
- Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
- Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
- Assisting with the identification and management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Assisting with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
**Required Experience**
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Undertake research and analysis to support informed. decision-making and planning
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
