Meat Cutter Job
Cutting, trimming and preparing meat for sale is a key aspect of this role. Meat cutters use knives and machinery to prepare meat for consumption. They must also prepare meat for value-added products like sausages and marinades while adhering to strict hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare meat for sale by cutting and trimming it to the required specifications.
* Assist in preparing meat for value-added products like sausages and marinades.
* Maintain high levels of hygiene throughout the working day.
Successful applicants will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in butchery or a related field. It would be beneficial to have experience with halal meat preparation. The ideal candidate will be able to obtain food safety certifications within 30 days of starting employment.
