Property Developer, specialising in land subdivisions and medium/high density residential projects, are urgently looking for a Project Manager to oversee project delivery, from inception to completion, for both development and construction.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field required.
Project Engineer/Junior Project Managers/Development Managers will also be considered.
This role will suit somebody who is looking for long-term growth as well as working on significant projects.
Requirements;
- Solid knowledge of DA processes, design management, and consultant coordination.
- Familiarity with construction practices, including budgeting, procurement, and scheduling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive them through both planning and delivery stages.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Development Phase:
- Manage DA submissions, ensuring compliance with planning regulations.
- Review designs, consultant reports, and planning approvals to enhance project outcomes.
- Coordinate with town planners, architects, engineers, and other consultants to drive project progress.
- Oversee feasibility assessments, budgeting, and project scheduling.
- Construction Phase:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Management of Payment Schedules & Payment Claims
- Ensure site operations comply with safety and quality standards.
- Assist with tender preparation, contractor selection, and procurement processes.
