The Digital Services and Design team is part of the Communications Branch, which plays a critical role in delivering DVA's digital communication services. This includes managing social media, audio-visual content, graphic design, and web development and publishing functions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader with demonstrated expertise in Government website management, digital communication, social media, graphic design and video production. You will bring a strong record of leading multidisciplinary teams across digital media, web services and creative design disciplines, with the ability to shape and deliver innovative communication strategies that achieve measurable impact.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. You will have the strategic capability to align digital platforms and products with whole of government standards while driving continual improvement and innovation in digital storytelling.

The key duties of the position include

overseeing digital governance, including adherence to branding, accessibility, privacy and digital policy requirements
providing authoritative advice to senior leaders and translate complex priorities into effective digital solutions
actively manage workflow, priorities and risks to deliver high-quality outcomes
build and maintain trusted working relationships across the branch, department and with external stakeholders
supporting the development of staff and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
