About this Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Logistics Officer.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the receipt, issue, storage and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools and non-aircraft items
* Work on a shift roster and be available for standby as required
* Maintain the cleanliness and security of the store facility
* Monitor shelf life items and track "Services in Store"
* Conduct stock takes as needed
* Evaluate opportunities for cost-effective improvements to methods and procedures relating to areas of responsibility
* Ensure workplace safety by identifying hazards and eliminating or minimising them as appropriate
* Report items requiring action outside of area of responsibility to the supervisor
Selective Criteria:
* Awareness of aircraft components is an advantage
* Current driver's license is essential
* Able to obtain an ASIC card, Air Side Driver's license, Dangerous Goods License and Forklift License
