Strategic Leadership Opportunity
The Board of Directors is responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure the integrity, accountability, and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
As a remunerated Board Director, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation's direction, supporting executive leadership, and championing initiatives that create meaningful impact across regional and remote communities.
The Board is finalising its new strategic plan around five pillars: being future ready, ensuring influence through advocacy, focusing on sustainability, looking towards innovation, and optimising delivery.
You will contribute to strategic planning, ensure accountability, and support the Chief Executive and leadership team in delivering impactful services. Additionally, you will help guide major initiatives, including property developments and service innovations.
We seek directors with strong strategic thinking and governance capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and independent decision-making.
A strong understanding of governance, strategic leadership, and community engagement is essential. Prior board experience and familiarity with the South Australian human services sector are highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attending monthly Board meetings
* Participating in subcommittees
* Functioning as an ambassador for the organisation
