Key Responsibilities
* Take technical ownership of design and application engineering for power generation and temperature control projects in APAC from concept to FAT/SAT and commissioning.
* Develop detailed mechanical designs for mining and power generation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations and that designs consider fuel properties, performance, emissions, reliability, and maintainability.
* Size and specify mechanical equipment, including engines, generators, fuel systems, chillers, heat exchangers, HVAC equipment, pumps, and ancillary components.
* Support the design and integration of fuel gas conditioning systems (filtration, pressure regulation, heating) for gas engines.
* Provide operational technical support for deployed systems, including fault-finding, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation to minimise downtime.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
* Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in power generation and/or temperature control systems (diesel/gas generators, chillers, HVAC, industrial cooling/heating).
