About the Role :
Are you a seasoned HR professional seeking a challenging and impactful role within a dynamic and growing organisation? We are seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to drive HR initiatives and support operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines operational and strategic HR responsibilities, focusing on employee engagement, talent management, and ensuring a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities :
* Strategic HR Leadership : Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals and foster a high-performance culture.
* Employee Relations : Provide expert advice on performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
* Workplace Health & Safety : Lead and implement health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a safe workplace.
* Policy Development : Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
* Talent Acquisition : Assist the talent acquisition team, where required, with recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
* Compliance & Reporting : Monitor employment law updates and ensure HR practices meet legislative requirements. Prepare and deliver insightful HR and safety reports to senior management.
* Engagement & Retention : Drive initiatives to promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, enhancing employee engagement and retention across teams.
About You :
To excel in this role, you will bring :
* A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
* Ideally 5+ years of experience in an HR Advisory or a HRBP role.
* Proven knowledge of employment law and compliance.
* Experience managing workplace health and safety programs.
* Strong strategic and operational HR expertise.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in Agri or similar industry advantageous.
Location & Travel :
The role is primarily based on site approximately 2 hours west of Toowoomba / 3.5 hours west of Brisbane. Candidates based in Brisbane will be considered with the expectation of regular travel to the feedlot (approximately 2-3 days fortnightly). Occasional travel to northern Queensland may also be required.
