About Us
Modern Painting Group, a pioneering force in the painting service industry, specializes in delivering innovative and high-quality solutions for transforming spaces. We are in search of a Painter to perform the following responsibilities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Paint the interiors of apartments, condos, units, townhouses and other multi-household buildings as required
- Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers, to prepare units for lease
- Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping
- Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs
- Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an productive, timely manner
- Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects
- Meet with property managers to discuss colour and finish options as well as other design details
Qualifications and eligibility
- Education: Certificate III or Certificate IV or Diploma
- Australian Experience: At least 3+ years of Australian experience OR
- Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of overseas experience
- Specialist: Painting
- Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred. Other applicants with full work rights can apply only if they meet the above criteria.
