Equipment Services & Machinery (ESM) seeking skilled mechanic to join our Service Department.

About the Role
As a Machinery Mechanic at ESM, you'll be responsible for:
* Performing general servicing and repairs on a wide range of earthmoving and construction machinery.
* Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance and applying systematic fault diagnosis and repair techniques.
* Completing accurate job notes, photos, and documentation in our Simpro job management system.
* Providing technical support and clear communication to customers and internal staff.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
About You
You're a customer-focused and detail-oriented technician with experience working on excavators and related compact equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and telehandlers. You take ownership of your work, stay organised, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
You'll bring:
* Proven ability in diagnostics, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, and preventative maintenance.
* Experience with component rebuilds, engines, hydraulics, and transmissions.
* Experience with use of a scan tools
* A commitment to professional development, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent
* Previous experience working on Kubota, JCB, Komatsu, CAT, or Bobcat machinery is highly regarded, as well as exposure to other compact and heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, telehandlers, and generators. Experience with diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and component rebuilds will also be highly valued.
* Current Driver's Licence (essential).
* Forklift Licence and White Card (desirable).
