Job Summary

As our Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving growth by connecting marketing initiatives directly to revenue outcomes. You will champion the development of a robust sales pipeline, accelerate deal velocity and strengthen customer retention through a blend of market intelligence, data‑driven strategy and close collaboration with Sales, Product and cross‑functional teams. You will also actively inform business strategy by identifying growth markets and shaping product and pricing focus areas based on market insight. As the central architect of marketing strategy you will ensure that market insights and competitive intelligence inform both product development and go‑to‑market execution. You'll be accountable for translating business priorities into integrated campaigns leveraging advanced digital tools, including AI platforms, to optimise engagement, pipeline quality and return on marketing investment (ROMI).

You will champion the development of a robust sales pipeline, accelerate deal velocity and strengthen customer retention through a blend of market intelligence, data‑driven strategy and close collaboration with Sales, Product and cross‑functional teams. You will also actively inform business strategy by identifying growth markets and shaping product and pricing focus areas based on market insight. As the central architect of marketing strategy you will ensure that market insights and competitive intelligence inform both product development and go‑to‑market execution. You'll be accountable for translating business priorities into integrated campaigns leveraging advanced digital tools, including AI platforms, to optimise engagement, pipeline quality and ROMI.


You'll have the opportunity to:

* Develop and maintain a comprehensive operator and contract‑cycle database that serves as a foundational tool for monitoring the activities and strategic moves of customers, prospects and competitors within the market.
* Proactively monitor competitor initiatives and identify potential adjacent market opportunities.
* Translate insights into practical deliverables including recommendations for product and market positioning, the creation of competitive battlecards and the formulation of a compelling "why now, why us" narrative to support deal advancement and reinforce Trapeze ANZ's strategic position within the market.
* Input into the Modaxo Global Market Analysis initiative in collaboration with Product to inform market positioning and product direction.
* Maintain strict discipline and high standards at the top of the sales funnel including ensuring that all leads are thoroughly qualified and meet established criteria before progressing further in the sales process.
* Design and implement Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) and Opportunity‑Based Marketing (OBM) campaigns to generate new business opportunities and support the movement of prospects through the sales pipeline.
* Align all messaging to the Pricing Accelerator framework to ensure that communication and outreach efforts are consistent and effectively supporting both the acquisition of new customers and the retention and expansion of existing accounts.
* Feed key market signals into Product Management and overall strategic initiatives to ensure that our product development and strategic planning remain closely attuned to market needs.
* Ensure a comprehensive view of Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) is maintained and regularly updated.
* Collaborate with Sales leadership to align market direction with sales execution to drive effective market penetration and ultimately support revenue growth and the achievement of business objectives.
* Effectively translate BU priorities into detailed briefs for the shared services marketing team.
* Maintain brand consistency, cohesive messaging and high content quality across all marketing assets and events to support the integrity of the Trapeze/Modaxo brand.
* Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to both elevate the Trapeze/Modaxo brand and generate new revenue opportunities.
* Manage the performance of the Business Unit (BU) website to ensure optimal user experience, effective search engine optimisation (SEO) and robust engagement across social channels. This includes monitoring key website metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to maximise visibility and interaction with target audiences.
* Integrate digital engagement signals from the website and social platforms with Salesforce to enhance the quality of leads entering the pipeline and improve overall opportunity conversion rates by ensuring that digital touchpoints are tracked, analysed and leveraged to support sales and marketing objectives.
* Define clear KPIs that measure pipeline contribution—including both sourced and influenced opportunities as well as conversion rates, sales velocity, ROMI and overall campaign performance.
* Maintain high standards of CRM and marketing automation data hygiene by championing best practices in data management and delivering actionable insights to BU leadership supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement across marketing initiatives.
* Effectively partner with key internal stakeholders—including Sales, Product, Finance, Professional Services and Shared Marketing—to lead efficient implementation and execution of the marketing and BU strategic plans.
* Equip Account Managers with effective retention and expansion strategies to support retention efforts with existing customers while also identifying and pursuing opportunities for revenue growth.
* Coordinate the development of abstracts, case studies and speaking opportunities; working with subject matter experts and relevant teams to identify suitable topics, prepare compelling materials and secure opportunities that showcase organisational expertise and success stories to target audiences.


What you'll bring to the role:

* Demonstrated experience in B2B marketing with demonstrated ability to develop sales pipelines and work within B2B sales frameworks.
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a similar field.
* Experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting spend and optimising resource allocation for maximum ROMI.
* Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building strong cross‑functional relationships.
* Deep understanding of customer journeys and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
* Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven approach to measuring and optimising marketing performance.
* Demonstrated ability to introduce and leverage new marketing technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms, to enhance marketing effectiveness, automate processes and generate actionable insights.
* Commitment to ongoing learning and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
* Demonstrated ability to manage change, adapt to shifting market conditions and pivot strategies quickly.
* Skilled in CRM platforms such as Salesforce and marketing automation tools including Marketo or similar.
* Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and ethical standards (e.g. privacy, data protection, advertising standards).
* A strong work ethic, integrity and alignment with Trapeze ANZ values.
