Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency, health, safety, and environmental compliance on a 24-hour shift system.
As part of our team, the Process Technician will perform plant and equipment process changes to optimize process performance within HSE compliance. This role involves process and equipment fault diagnosis and rectification, and system isolations.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement routine tasks and testing of plant equipment to maintain optimal performance.
* Update shift logs with plant and process changes to ensure effective communication between shifts.
* Ensure defect reporting is completed efficiently and effectively through our CMMS system.
* Manage contractors and control their work areas to ensure site compliance with contractual obligations.
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Hold a Boiler and STG operating ticket.
* Possess 3+ years of Thermal Energy Operations or equivalent industry experience.
* Have working knowledge of MS Excel.
* Experience working with large and diverse O&M teams.
* Prior experience in renewable energy or waste management sectors is highly desirable.
