This large, Australian owned organisation with over 600 employees was established almost 40 years ago and is thriving in dynamic and diverse industry sectors. The Group has three operational divisions, which are supported by a shared services team with a clear focus on value add to achieve successful business outcomes.
This new role has been positioned to focus on future strategy, planning and partnering closely with the Executive and Management teams. As the business grows and evolves, this role will be critical in developing a robust and best-practice People & Culture framework.
Reporting to the CFO and Director of Shared Services, your remit will include the following;
- Recruitment and Retention strategy
- Succession planning and training programs
- Empower the Management team through ongoing education, training and support
- Review and implement culture and engagement initiatives
- Utilise and enhance current HRIS systems to their full capacity
- Manage union involvement, relationships and EBA negotiations
- Develop reporting around people strategies for business decision making
- Represent and lead the business to achieve forward thinking people solutions
To be considered for this crucial role, we are seeking an experienced People & Culture leader, ideally with experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment. You must be comfortable with IR regulations and legislation and understand the complex nature of a unionised workforce. With sites across Australia and New Zealand, some travel will be required.
