Role Summary
Lead the VLF Power Production team in Exmouth, overseeing the 24/7 operation, maintenance, and repair of the VLF power plant and associated systems to ensure safe, reliable power generation for national security missions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a high‐performing team, fostering a safety culture and developing team capability.
* Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of the VLF power plant and associated equipment.
* Ensure reliable, safe 24/7 power and utility service delivery to the site.
* Manage planning, scheduling, testing and performance of power generation systems.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Diploma in Electrotechnology – Electrician, Diploma in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, or equivalent.
* Diploma in Leadership & Management, or equivalent (preferred).
* Current C‐Class driver's licence.
* Minimum 6 years post‐qualification experience.
* Experience leading teams, including work scheduling, coaching and operational execution.
* Demonstrated experience with maintenance planning, scheduling and asset management practices.
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting1 (NV1) Security clearance as needed.
