Bendigo Kangan Institute's Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Docklands is seeking passionate panel beaters / automotive body repair technicians eager to inspire and train the next generation of apprentice automotive body repair technicians. If you're ready to pass on your knowledge and make a real impact, we want to hear from you
(This role is internally known as Teacher Body Repair Technology)
What you will do:
1. Train panel beating / automotive body repair technology in classrooms and workshop environments
2. Share your skills, experience and know-how with the next generation experts
3. Mentor apprentices and students to support diverse learning needs
4. Ensure apprentices' and students' skills meet industry standards
5. Collaborate with industry partners to keep training up to date
6. Help us improve what and how we train
We are excited about you because you are:
7. A passionate trades person with willingness to enrol in Cert IV TAE
Or
A qualified teacher (with Cert IV TAE) with vocational competency in panel beating/ automotive body repair technology along with industry experience, and
8. Hold a certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or similar qualification)
