Procurement Specialist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our procurement processes, ensuring optimal pricing and value for the company.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and confirming receipt of order confirmations within three days of placement
* Coordinating with the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Controller to ensure timely availability of materials for production
* Monitoring delivery dates with suppliers on a weekly and monthly basis to flag any unfulfilled quantities or delivery delays
Requirements:
* Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement
* Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organizational ability
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
