Overview
Hospital Pharmacy Student - Slade Pharmacy, Hollywood Private Hospital. This casual role offers practical experience in a hospital workplace while supporting dispensary operations and learning from pharmacists and technicians in a clinical setting.
Employment: Casual. Location: Slade Pharmacy Hollywood, located within Hollywood Private Hospital. Eligibility: Open to 1st – 4th year Pharmacy Students.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
- Delivery of medications to hospital wards.
- Inventory control and management.
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.
- Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
Shift Information
- One weekend shift.
- One weeknight shift (4:00 pm – 7:00 pm).
About You
Essential Requirements
- Currently enrolled in 1st – 4th year of a Bachelor of Pharmacy at a recognised Australian university.
- Ability to address client needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from date of employment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.
