Working collaboratively with architects, builders, and clients, you'll play a key part in transforming architectural visions into buildable, efficient, and sustainable designs.Key Responsibilities:Undertaking the design, engineering and documentation for façade and build-ability consultancy inclusive of detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings, and specifications.Reviewing contractor submissions, show drawings and calculations.Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.Preparing tender submissions.Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry.QualificationsA degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.3+years of experience as a Facade Engineer (preferred) or Structural Engineer.Understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation techniques.Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.A proactive, learning-oriented mindset and interest in sustainability and innovative design.Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and grow within a dynamic consultancy environment.Additional InformationEgis is committed to creating an inclusive, flexible, and values-led workplace.
