Tourism Media is not your average workplace, and this isn’t your average support role. We’re looking for a tech-fluent, problem-solving, data-digging, logic-loving human to become our go-to Application Support Specialist for Enigma, our in-house content-at-scale platform.
You won’t be coding, but you will get your hands dirty with SQL, troubleshoot real-world content production challenges, work across teams, and help us squeeze every last drop of value from our tools. If you're the kind of person who asks why something’s broken instead of just rebooting it we want to talk to you.
This job is not suitable if you’re not Brisbane Based, want to work 100% remotely or don’t have full work rights for Australia.
What you’ll do:
- Become our internal SME (Subject Matter Expert) initially on Enigma and then other in-house tools.
- Interrogate data using SQL and validate content flows
- Troubleshoot issues and partner with devs to get them resolved
- Collaborate across product, data, tech and content teams
- Help us evolve our platform with feedback, testing, and real-world smarts
- Translate “tech speak” into plain English for our team (and vice versa)
- Create documentation that people actually use that’s clear and friendly.
About you:
- 3-5+ years in app support, data ops or similar roles
- Strong SQL skills and confidence working with complex data
- Deep curiosity and strong logic — you love solving puzzles
- Able to explain application logic in ways that make sense to non-tech teams
- Process-driven and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Bonus points for experience with:
CMS platforms, Cypher familiarity, Atlassian tools, Agile practices, JSON/APIs, media/content businesses, or a general love of systems thinking.
