Woods & Co Recruitment is thrilled to be working with a hospitality group that has delivered acclaimed venues both in Australia and overseas. Their Melbourne flagship launched in 2024 and has already become a destination in its own right. With multiple new projects scheduled for 2026 and interstate expansion on the horizon, they are searching for a driven, commercially minded General Manager to lead operations and help scale the business nationally.

This is more than just a GM role. In the short term, you'll stabilise and elevate the flagship venue, ensuring structure, accountability and profitability. From there, you'll step into the group's expansion pipeline, playing a hands on role in pre openings and launches, before growing into a group level leadership position overseeing multiple venues across Australia.

What you'll do

* Lead daily operations at the flagship venue, instilling structure, accountability, and high-performance culture
* Deliver profitability targets and oversee financial management
* Implement training, service standards, KPIs and reporting frameworks
* Manage recruitment, training, systems implementation and launch execution
* Partner closely with the Founder on strategy and new business
* Play a central role in scaling the brand nationally

What you need

* Proven experience as a GM or Ops Director in premium hospitality
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver profitability
* Hands on leadership style with the ability to balance detail and strategy
* Demonstrated experience with successful venue openings
* Passion for growth and scaling a multi venue business
