Trainee Loss Adjuster - Property

What the role involves:
1. Providing field-based assessment and investigation of residential insurance losses
2. Having full support from the Manager and senior team members, attending site meetings together
3. Receiving training in report writing following site visits, assessing damage, and causation
4. Liaising with policyholders regarding their claims.
* Examining claims forms, policies, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage.
* Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence.
* Set loss reserves and control claims costs.
What experience you will bring:
* Experienced in technical property or strata claims to assess the cause and repair of damage
* Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
* Experience in building strong relationships with all stakeholders
* A solid understanding of policy coverage and application
