Service and Support Specialist
As a vital member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of radio communications systems and related technologies in our region. This role involves providing both field and workshop-based technical support to clients, collaborating with colleagues to achieve high-performance team goals, and contributing to building strong relationships with customers.
* Execute maintenance and service work on various radio networks, CCTV systems, PAGA, telephony, and IP networks.
* Support integration, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation activities.
* Contribute to product acceptance, reporting non-conformances, and implementing corrective actions.
* Perform repairs, programming, testing, and code plug maintenance for radio equipment.
* Deliver high-quality service and build long-term client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III or higher in Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
* Current high-risk license.
* Comfortable working at heights, including EWP and tower climbing qualifications.
* Strong knowledge of network-based radio systems.
* Understanding of ACMA regulations.
* Experience with wireless technologies, IP networking, PAGA, telephony, and microwave systems (highly desirable).
