Community Engagement Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Community Engagement Manager to spearhead the development of our student accommodation community in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a dynamic and inclusive living environment that enhances the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team culture that prioritizes resident satisfaction and retention.
* Develop strong relationships with students, universities, and local stakeholders to drive community engagement and outreach initiatives.
* Actively connect with residents, gather feedback, and implement improvements to boost satisfaction and retention.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging events that contribute to a vibrant and supportive living environment.
* Partner with marketing to develop localized campaigns and drive occupancy and revenue growth.
* Ensure seamless tenancy management, effective vendor coordination, and well-maintained facilities aligned with compliance standards.
* Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, and manage costs to meet business targets.
* Ensure compliance with WHS standards, manage incident reporting, and maintain a safe living environment for all.
* Provide mentoring, set clear goals, and support team development to drive high performance and future succession.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property management, hospitality, customer service, or sales.
* Prior experience in multi-family housing or student accommodation is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster a culture of service excellence.
* Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, with a track record of achieving revenue and occupancy goals.
* Knowledge of tenancy legislation, WHS regulations, and property operations.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural awareness and the ability to engage diverse student cohorts.
