Vocational Trainer – Bray Park State High School
Join the Queensland Department of Education as a Vocational Trainer at Bray Park State High School. In this temporary part‑time role (0.83 FTE, 60 hours per fortnight), you will plan, deliver, and assess nationally recognised training for senior secondary students across a range of Certificate II and III qualifications.

About The Role
As a Vocational Trainer you will:
- Design and deliver training programs aligned with relevant Training Packages and AQF standards.
- Assess student competency and maintain accurate records to ensure RTO compliance.
- Facilitate structured workplace learning and liaise with employers to support student placements.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and consumables used in practical training environments.
- Promote protected work practices and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.
The role focuses on the following qualifications (5 hours per week each):
- Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation
- Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
- Certificate II in Furniture Making
- Certificate II in Hospitality
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Qualifications to the level, or above, being delivered (e.g., Automotive, Engineering, Furniture Making, Hospitality, Early Childhood).
- Demonstrated relevant industry experience and currency.
