Overview
We are working with a tier-one Australian firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Commercial Disputes practice within their Sydney office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Dispute Resolution department, working on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes. The candidate's duties will include advising clients on commercial and contractual disputes, corporate crime, regulatory inquiries and investigations, class actions, and arbitration.
The candidate will play a key supporting role within the team, facilitating the growth and development of junior members through supervision, training, and mentoring. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Requirements
* 2-6 PQE;
* Strong background in commercial disputes within a medium to large commercial firm;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
