About the Role
As the Program Manager, you will oversee the Open House bail supported accommodation programs across both the Men's and Women's sites in Alice Springs. You will guide and support your team to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred services that help participants meet their bail conditions and move toward independence. The role requires a deep understanding of the justice system and the ability to work through a therapeutic and rehabilitation-focused lens, creating an environment that encourages growth, builds confidence and supports people to make meaningful change.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support staff to deliver high quality, client-focused and responsive services.
* Oversee day-to-day program operations across both Open House sites.
* Monitor service delivery to ensure best practice and compliance with program guidelines.
* Ensure case management documentation, records and data are accurate and aligned with TSA policy.
* Maintain strong partnerships with the Department of Corrections and other stakeholders.
* Monitor financial performance and ensure budgets are met.
* Strengthen housing and accommodation pathways for participants.
* Oversee reporting requirements and acquittals.
* Promote a safe environment for clients, staff and visitors through strong risk management practices.
* Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree level qualifications in a relevant field.
* Extensive experience in a leadership role within supported accommodation or a related service.
* Knowledge and experience in the homelessness and mental health sectors.
* Strong understanding of the justice system and the needs of people on bail.
* Ability to lead with clarity, steadiness and compassion.
* Experience working in complex environments and supporting teams through challenge and change.
* Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and the historical context of the Northern Territory.
* Commitment to The Salvation Army's mission, values and approach to working for justice.
* Current NT driver's licence.
* Willingness to be on call, work outside standard hours when required and travel to regional NT.
