Join a high-profile automotive service program supporting dealerships across Australia to improve vehicle repair turnaround times, customer uptime, and dealer workshop efficiency. This role will sit within a major OEM automotive environment, coordinating a large-scale field technician deployment program designed to support dealerships experiencing high workshop demand and complex repair backlogs.
Based in Campbellfield, this is a 12-month contract opportunity with strong potential for extension as the program continues to grow. 2 positions available.
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a network of highly skilled automotive technicians deployed across dealerships nationally.
The role is heavily focused on operations coordination, dealer engagement, performance tracking, reporting, and issue resolution rather than hands-on mechanical work.
You will work closely with dealership stakeholders including Service Managers, Workshop Controllers, Parts teams, and Master Technicians to ensure repairs are progressing efficiently, technician productivity remains high, and Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases are reduced.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong dealership operations experience, warranty/service coordination exposure, or automotive project/program coordination capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate field technician deployment activities across the dealer network
* Manage scheduling, workload allocation, and dealer readiness activities
* Track technician productivity, utilization, repair progress, and downtime metrics
* Liaise with dealerships regarding workshop capacity, tooling, parts availability, and repair escalations
* Support resolution of technical blockers and operational bottlenecks
* Monitor and report on VOR ageing trends and repair completion status
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly governance reports for leadership teams
* Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics support for field technicians
* Maintain risk, issue, and action tracking registers
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on workshop efficiency and turnaround times
* Build strong working relationships with dealer stakeholders nationally
About You
* Experience within automotive dealerships, OEM service operations, warranty, field service coordination, or workshop operations
* Technical automotive knowledge
* Strong background with dealership service operations, vehicle repairs, and workshop processes
* Experience with project coordination, operations support, or program delivery
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts across a national program
* Strong reporting, administration, and organisational capability
* Comfortable working with KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
* Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills
