About Us Heyday Clinic operates three vibrant practice locations in the heart of Warragul and Korumburra - two of Australia's fastest-growing regional areas, and the other in St Kilda Road, Melbourne. We are a dynamic, growing practice currently comprising five clinicians and dedicated admin support and great local relationships in the community. We specialise in: Individual therapy across multiple referral streams Assessments (autism, ADHD, cognitive, behavioural) Workplace psychology & RTW counselling Choose your service style: in-clinic, telehealth, or community visits What We're Looking For AHPRA registered Psychologist (2 years ideal, but Provisionals encouraged!) Someone who values genuine client connection over tick-box therapy Team player who can work autonomously Experience with NDIS/WorkCover/assessment work preferred In order to be eligible for this role you will be required to provide or be willing to undertake the following: Working with Children Check (WWCC) NDIS Worker Screening Criminal History Check What Makes Us Different STAP accredited supervision included Develop your own specialisation areas Supportive team that actually supports Make genuine community impact in growing regional towns Contract or employment - your choice We're seeking a passionate Psychologist who thrives on meaningful client connections and professional growth. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent team building skills with experience in mental health clinical services an advantage. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously as well as an ability to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and provide effective problem-solving and negotiation skills. You're proactive, flexible, and resilient and happy to work autonomously, use your initiative, and have a high attention to detail. We believe that great customer service in addition to great clinical skills is an absolute must! Successful applicants for this position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV). Preferred Experience: Understanding of different referral schemes including NDIS, WorkCover, EAP, TAC, VOCAT, MHCP Assessment skills in Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability - experience in strengths-based reporting and feedback highly advantageous Deep expertise in another area of specialisation (e.g. young people, couples, geriatric populations would be ideal but not essential - we'd look to support your interests) Tasks & Responsibilities: Conduct individual client therapy via multiple referral pathways Liaise effectively with referrers including written and verbal feedback Perform comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning Demonstrate advanced communication skills Utilise practice management software (Heyday Clinic uses Zanda) Professional Benefits: Highly flexible role structure (e.g. school hours, part time etc.) Contract or employment arrangements negotiable Diverse referral pathways - never a dull moment Supervision from STAP accredited supervisor Opportunity to develop specialisations aligned with your interest areas What We Offer: Supportive, collaborative team environment Authentic workplace culture Commitment to professional development and opportunities for running training/workshops and contribute to Heyday Clinic profile with various interest areas Opportunity to make a real community impact Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to apply, and supervision is offered as part of the package.
