About the Company 
The company is a supplier of building products with a difference. With focus on supplying specialised cladding solutions to the construction market with innovative products and solutions through a range of supply channels, the company is experiencing fast growth within the construction market, supplying many of Australia’s largest builders. With the Head Office based in Melbourne, the company is growing nationally and is looking for another highly motivated sales professional to assist in growing the Victorian market. 
The Opportunity 
Based in the Western suburbs, you will be joining the Victorian sales team to assist in growing the residential/medium density market, utilising your relationships within the construction market, including: 
National and independent resellers 
Developers 
Architects, contract administrators, procurement and key decision makers 
You will be required to manage a diverse range of sales channels to grow the market within your region and use your technical and relationship management to build a trusted brand within the industry. 
Key Responsibilities 
Help grow the Victorian market with your industry contacts 
New client acquisition, via industry contacts and cold calling and warm leads 
Strategic business development with end users 
Manage and grow existing customer base 
Understand the sales process from specification through to installation. 
Able to adapt and present to key stake holders in different sectors, such as Architects/specifiers, estimators, site managers, reseller teams and senior management. 
Work closely with the sales team in Victoria 
About You 
Being a natural sales professional in the construction industry, you are highly regarded with your contacts, which will lead to successfully growing the sales numbers throughout Victoria. You are not afraid to knock on doors and cold call on new potential customers as well as follow up warm leads. You have experience and have contacts with Tier 1-3 builders in the multi-residential, duplex and semi-detached markets, Resellers as well as access to Architects/Specifiers, Estimators, and Key Stake holders. 
You will be technically savvy with building products, and have a good understanding of the building market, Although you will be trained in the products, your exceptional sales skills will be important to help grow the Victorian market. You are a hunter and have the drive and passion to exceed your targets and goals. Reporting to the Victorian State Manager, and working closely with the other sales and team members you will also have exceptional reporting skills, including forecasting, sales reports, and market updates. 
Key Skills 
Experience in generating new business and growth through industry contacts, acquisition, and current client base 
Experience in the construction and building market 
Experience with tier 1-3 residential builders 
Experience and contacts with multi-residential, duplex and semi-detached builders and developers. 
Experience with National and Independent trade and reseller stores 
Experience and able to cold call. 
Able to report and keep records to company polices and requirements. 
Passion to grow your territory.
