The Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) is the ACT's peak tripartite industry training advisory body for the building and construction sector. We work closely with government, industry, training providers, and unions to support skills recognition, workforce development, and quality assurance across the sector.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Project and Executive Support Officer to join our small, collaborative team. This role provides essential support across projects that shape training, safety, and workforce development in the ACT building and construction industry.
You will:
* Coordinate and monitor CITC projects and timelines
* Prepare reports, briefing papers, tenders, and submissions
* Support governance processes including agendas, minutes, and meeting papers
* Assist the Executive Director with correspondence and presentations
* Contribute to stakeholder engagement and administrative workflows

Essential Skills:
* Strong written communication and research capability
* Experience in project coordination or committee support
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Highly Regarded:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
* Qualifications in WHS, quality auditing, or training design
* Experience in VET, workforce development, or policy
